...it all started in Salem Oregon at this fabulous Red Lion Inn.

We originally met while working on film sets, myself as a production designer and Lauren as a costume designer.

After working on projects together for about a year we ended up falling in love on a little horror movie shot on location in Silver Falls, Oregon.

It was a cold hard shoot in December of 2010. But it was a beautiful adventure, and we had each other...

...and this little Minnie Winnie that brought a crew of us up from Los Angeles.  After the shoot was over...

...we hit the road on an adventure through the southwest to Ojo Caliente, New Mexico.

We discovered we both love road trips and all the curious adventures along the way...

...and after three weeks on the road we returned to LA and have been together ever since.

Soon after our lives became one we adopted this guy, Gordos, and have been blessed with his presence ever since...

...which I love... most of the time...

...in between the madness of production design work...

I found rest and relaxation at Lauren's house in Manhattan Beach...

...and my idle hands found the only power tool she had, her portable sewing machine...

...so I started making stuff.  Mostly I just made it for Lauren, or just to see if I could...

...which turned out to be a really important creative outlet that allowed us to make all the things that we are inspired to, for no reason at all...

...after a few years the hobby out grew itself and we opened our Etsy Shop...

...and then Free People discovered us on instagram and put us in their Summer Catalog...

...and then the buyer for Nordstroms contacted us...

...but she just lied and stole our design to sell a less quality version made in China...

...but that didn't bother us too much because we  knew we can do it better right here in the US with our own hands, hearts, and creative designs...

...So we kept doing the only thing we could do...

...Designing and creating new things that inspire us.  And to keep creating anything and everything...

...which typically takes up a lot of space and makes quite a mess, so we opened the RIGHTTRIBE Creative Studio in Manhattan Beach in the Fall of 2016.

We had so much fun and met so many amazing people from our community and really got to know our customers.  Many of them are now our friends...

...but unfortunately, all things must pass, and we had to move on from this beautiful space.

But then just a few months later we found a new space and The Right Tribe Creative studio is still creating...

...To be cont.  There's more to it than that...

Thanks for wondering.
